Galaxy XCover 5, Galaxy's Rugged Phone lineup, will be released in South Korea. It has been supplied to industrial sites in the form of B2B, but this is the first time that it has been released in Korea for ordinary consumers.
The Galaxy Xcover ' is equipped with a 134.8 mm (5.3 type) HD+ display, which is convenient to use in one hand and easy to carry. It supports IP68 waterproof and dustproof grades, and has strong durability through application of gorilla glass 6, which is resistant to scratches or shocks, so it can be used in various environments such as outdoor activities.
It is also equipped with a 3,000mAh battery that can be detached and attached, which is rarely seen now, so if there is an additional battery, it can be used as an extra battery and supports 15W high-speed charging. By providing dual LED flash (Dual LED Flash) function, it can project light narrower and farther than LED flash in a regular smartphone, so it can be used like a flashlight, and it is equipped with 5-megapixel and 16-megapixel cameras on the front and back, respectively.
It has been released and is sold for 275,000 won on a self-sufficiency basis. It is not that there was no Rugged Phone, but since it is a reliable Samsung Rugged Phone, it seems good that the reliability is higher than other minor brands. I also thought it would be better if the Pro lineup with better performance was released in the future.
